Social & SEO settings
Akira keeps social sharing simple: add your social links and a favicon once in Theme Settings, and the theme handles how your pages appear when shared or found in search.
Social media links
Enter a URL for each platform you're active on. Any field left blank simply won't show an icon, so you don't need to fill in every option. These links are used by the header, footer, and any section that includes a social icon block.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Link to your Instagram profile, shown as an icon wherever social links appear. | |
| TikTok | Link to your TikTok profile. |
| Link to your Facebook page. | |
| YouTube | Link to your YouTube channel. |
| Link to your Pinterest profile. | |
| X (Twitter) | Link to your X profile. |
| Snapchat | Link to your Snapchat profile. |
| Link to your LinkedIn page. |
Favicon
Upload a square image to use as your store's favicon, the small icon shown in browser tabs and bookmarks. For best results, use a simple, high-contrast image, since it will be displayed very small.
Open Graph and Twitter cards
You won't find separate settings for Open Graph or Twitter card content, because Akira generates these automatically based on the page being shared. When someone shares a product, the theme uses that product's title, description, and featured image. When they share a collection, blog post, or regular page, it does the same using that page's own content. There's nothing to configure here beyond making sure each product and page has a clear title, description, and image, since that's what will show up when the link is shared.
Tip: Since sharing previews are pulled automatically from page content, double-check that your key landing pages and best-selling products have a strong featured image and a description that reads well out of context, since that's exactly how it will appear when shared on social media.
