Announcement & utility bars
Akira includes three small, independent sections that sit above or alongside your main content: the Announcement bar, the Cookie banner, and the Promo ticker. Each has its own settings and its own purpose.
Announcement bar
A thin bar, usually placed above the header, that rotates through announcement blocks you add yourself (shipping information, sales, store news, and similar messages).

| Show account link | Adds a text link to the account page. The header already shows an account icon, so enable this only if you want a text link here too. |
The Announcement bar uses one block type, Announcement, which you can add multiple times to build the rotation.
Cookie banner
A consent banner shown to first-time visitors, with configurable accept, decline, and preference options.

| Privacy policy link label | Sets the clickable text for the privacy policy link. |
| Accept button label | Sets the text on the accept button. |
| Show decline button | Adds a decline option alongside accept. Recommended for GDPR compliance. |

| Show cookie category preferences | Lets visitors choose which cookie types to accept (Essential, Analytics, Marketing). |
| Color scheme | Sets the color scheme applied to the banner. |
Promo ticker
A rotating bar or floating toast that displays marketing messages you write yourself, such as current offers or shipping deadlines.

| Bar label | Short label shown before messages (for example, News or Offers). Leave blank to hide. |
| Toast position | Sets where the floating toast appears on screen. Only relevant in toast style. |

| Color scheme | Sets the color scheme applied to the ticker. |
| Top padding | Space above the section. |
| Bottom padding | Space below the section. |
The Promo ticker only shows messages you write yourself in Message blocks (plus any connected app blocks). It does not generate or fabricate messages, urgency counters, or fake activity on its own, so anything customers see here is exactly what you typed.
Tip: If you run both the Announcement bar and the Promo ticker, keep their messages distinct. Repeating the same offer in both places above the header reads as clutter rather than reinforcement.
