The brief
Worthy supplies confectionery, beverages and grocery lines to retail stores around the country. Orders used to be typed into Odoo by hand, between 50 and 80 of them every day.
They needed a storefront that a retailer could order from without calling anyone, that showed the right stock and the right price, and that could never quietly drift out of step with Odoo.

01Homepage
A catalogue of brands, one search away.
The homepage leads with brand campaigns like LOL Bubble Tea and Riclan, with search sitting in the header across every page. New arrivals, wholesale enquiries, a product catalogue download and a purchase order page are all one click from the top.

02Collections & filtering
Order-by-code search and filtersShopify development
Filter by brand, category and availability.
Collections show a live product count, with filters for collection, brand, category and availability, and a sort control. Every card carries the brand, the Worthy SKU and the manufacturer code, because retailers order by code as often as by name.

Trade pricing behind loginShopify Plus development
Stock for everyone, price for the trade.
Stock levels are public, so anyone can see what is available, but pricing appears only when a wholesale account signs in. Pack size, SKU and manufacturer code sit beside the product, with warehouse pickup and a next-day delivery cut-off shown right on the page.
Stock for everyone, price for the trade
Anyone can see what is in stock, but the price and add to cart appear only once a wholesale account signs in. Switch between a visitor and a signed-in trade account.

Orders now flow from the storefront into Odoo on their own, and the connector checks both systems every hour so they never drift.
Order in, stock back, drift repaired
An order placed on the storefront lands in Odoo on its own, and stock flows back the same way. Every hour the connector compares both systems and repairs any difference. Press the buttons to run it.

Questions
What is a self-healing ERP connector?
It is a sync job that checks its own work on a schedule, not just when something is first written. If a stock figure or price drifts out of step between Shopify and the ERP, an hourly pass catches and repairs it automatically, rather than waiting for a customer to notice a wrong price or a false out-of-stock.
Why connect Shopify to Odoo instead of entering orders in both?
Because entering the same order twice is where errors and delays come from. A live connector means an order placed on the storefront exists in Odoo immediately, with the same stock and pricing data driving both systems, so there is only one place the numbers can go wrong instead of two.
How much manual order entry is worth automating?
At Worthy's volume it was 50 to 80 entries a day, which is a meaningful chunk of a working day gone before anything else gets done. Even distributors doing a fraction of that volume usually find the automation pays for itself once you count the staff hours it frees up.
Does a wholesale portal replace a distributor's existing retail store?
No, it sits alongside it. Retail customers see the normal storefront, while trade accounts sign in to see wholesale pricing and place bulk orders, all on the same Shopify Plus instance.
