Our customer intelligence app has a new name and a sharper mission: predict which Shopify customers are about to churn, segment every buyer with RFM scoring, and let Claude write the win-back campaign. Here is what changed and why.

Same app, clearer promise

When we launched Miko AI in June, we described it as customer intelligence for Shopify. Accurate, but vague. What merchants actually use it for is much more specific: finding out which customers are about to stop buying, and doing something about it before the revenue disappears. So the app is now called what it does: Miko Claude AI Churn & Segment.

Nothing about your install changes. Existing merchants keep their data, their segments, and their plan. The name on the App Store listing now simply matches the job it is hired for.

What it does, in one pass

Connect the app and it scores every customer in your store on recency, frequency and monetary value: classic RFM segmentation, running continuously instead of in a spreadsheet you rebuild every quarter. Those scores sort your customers into segments you can act on immediately: champions, loyal regulars, at risk, about to sleep.

On top of the segments sit per-customer predictions: churn risk and VIP probability, recalculated as orders come in. That converts customer retention from an autopsy into a calendar reminder. You see who is drifting while a win-back offer still has a chance of working.

Where Claude comes in

Analytics apps usually stop at charts. This one explains itself. Claude, the AI model by Anthropic, turns every segment and prediction into plain English: what this group of customers has in common, why they matter to your revenue, and what to do about them this week. It also writes the campaign for you, from the win-back email for at-risk buyers to the VIP note for your champions.

If you have ever opened an analytics dashboard, stared at it for five minutes and closed it again, this is the feature that fixes that.

The app runs on any Shopify plan, syncs your customers in minutes, and includes a free plan for your first fifty customers analysed, so you can see your own segments before paying anything. Setup is genuinely three clicks: install, sync, read.
